It is important to use the correct oil for your Small Engine. Most car oils will damage this Small Engine as the heat produced by a this engine is not hot enough to thin the oil. ONLY USE THE CORRECT OIL!
Oil type:
Mineral/Non-Synthetic Oil (sometime called Classic Car Oil)
Oil Grade:
- Use 10W40 when temperatures exceed 30°C / 86°F
- 10W30 for temperatures between 0°C - 30°C / 32°F - 86°F
- 5W40 for temperatures below 0°C / 32°F
