Replacement Rocker Cover Gasket.

The smallest bend or crack in the Rocker Cover Gasket will render it useless, causing a significant loss of horsepower and may even prevent the engine from starting!
In a small engine, gaskets are used in many locations to provide a critical seal that is required between components. In this case, it is designed to ensure that the compression in the Cylinder is kept at the correct pressure as the Valves move up and down. A broken gasket will affect this, making engine operation rough or preventing starting.
Make sure the surface is clean before fitting. Lightly use a razor blade to remove any residue until it feels smooth to the touch.
