Description
Spark Plug Brush with Brass bristles.
Roary the Repair Lion says:
Carbon deposits on your spark plug can affect ignition of the fuel. When you service your engine always clean the spark plug tip with this brush. This might also need doing if the engine starts running rough or is hard to start.
If these carbon deposits are building up, you need to clean or rebuild your Carb as it is sending too much fuel to the cylinder head. Please see the Carb Repair Kit description for your machinery for the Carb's Air Mixture settings. If the Air Mixture screw is not set correctly it can create this issue and starting problems.
If engine is smoking after resetting the Air Mixture Screw, this might indicate a piston ring issue. Please see the Piston Rings description for your machinery for testing techniques.
