Replacement Oil Seal made from Viton for a long life.
Roary the Repair Lion says:
Once removed, you must replace the seals!
Even if the seals do not look damaged, the smallest amount of deviation will provide a gap for the oil to seep through, resulting in the engine burning excess oil and potentially catching fire!
Repair Tips:
- Be sure to inspect the the Piston, Cylinder Head, Cylinder, Rockers, Valves and Push Rods for damage and replace if necessary.
- You might need to replace the Rocker Cover Gasket if it splits during the repair (available in the Gasket kit.)
- You will need a new Head Gasket when replacing this part.
- We also suggest a full oil change to remove and prevent any broken metal or shavings from the old, damaged parts jamming the engine.
- When replacing, reset your Valve Lash Clearances settings (Instruction video below.)
- Intake: 0.15-0.20 mm
- Exhaust: 0.20-0.30 mm
(Try the smallest setting first. If it is still not running right, change the clearance to the larger setting.)
