Replacement Air Pipe
Roary the Repair Lion says:
Always check the Air Filter when replacing this part.
Do not run your engine without this pipe, or with a dirty Air Filter, as it will allow contaminated air into the engine which may cause catastrophic damage to the engine.
The Air Pipe fits between the rocker head cover and the air filter housing. It recirculates unburnt fuel for fuel efficiency and low emissions.
These particles can scratch the inside of the cylinder, score the piston, and damage the piston rings resulting in lack of compression and burning oil. (See the piston product description on the model page for testing techniques if you suspect damage.)
