Replacement Balance Wheel made from toughened metal for prolonged life.

Generator Guru says:

Rarely needs replacing. To diagnose a failed balance wheel you will have one of the following symptoms:

  1. Excess vibration. If your engine will not settle, and looks as if it will break the engine mounts, then either the balance wheel or the crankshaft may have bent. Open engine to investigate.
  2. Loss of engine power. The engine will "lull" down and the electricity will drop. Contact us and we can help you work through the testing for this problem.

If you are performing a major service, usually every 500 hours, be sure to check the Valve Clearances. Not doing so will affect the running and fuel efficiency of the engine.

Set your Valve Lash Clearances to 0.015 inches OR 0.4 mm for both Intake and Exhaust. (If not running correctly, open the exhaust to 0.020 inches OR 0.5 mm)

You will need a Feeler Gauge to set your Valve Lash Clearances.
