New Replacement Flywheel balanced to the highest degree.

Comes complete with new Ignition Magnet and Gear as standard. This Flywheel will also work on Manual-Start Engines.

Flywheel Nut Torque: 170 N·m (17.3 kgf·m, 125 lbf·ft)

Be sure the flywheel is fitted correctly. If it is not balanced when turning, it is indicating other internal engine issues. Check the crankshaft and its oil seal, bearings, camshaft, or there are possibly other internal engine faults. If you open the engine, you will need a gasket kit to rebuild it, as your engine uses "crush" gaskets that cannot be reused.

To prevent the engine turning the full cycle and not allowing you to tighten the flywheel nut, we suggest stopping the engine from turning by removing the spark plug and feeding clean rope into the spark plug hole. Be sure to leave some rope out so you can easily retrieve it after. 

This flywheel comes with the electric start gear fitted. We get the factory to do this as we know how hard a job it can be to fit them. If your set up does not have electric start, do not worry, this gear will not affect the running of your engine and can be left in place when fitting the flywheel.

Q. Why is my generator producing excess smoke?

A. This can depend on the colour of the smoke: black smoke is too much fuel/not enough air, so clean or replace the air filter then examine the injector; white smoke is usually water in the fuel, change the fuel and filters; blue smoke is a sign of burning oil, usually this is caused by failed valve seals or piston rings.

A. Generators recharge their own battery and the part that is responsible for this is called the Battery Charging Rectifier or Regulator and provides a steady voltage back to the battery while it is running, these parts are prone to overheating and failure, for please Click Here:
