• 2 x Rockers
• 2 x Rocker bolts with all required nuts

The rockers often wear or break if the valve clearance is incorrect putting unnecessary strain on these parts. Be sure when you replace them that you have the correct spacing between the rocker and the valve head. Full information on how to reset your Valve Clearance is available below.

You need to reset your Valve Clearances as per the Service intervals set out by the manufacturer and is done in conjunction with the oil service.

This is required by all small engines, especially until the engine is "broken in" and the piston and parts are settled into their positions. After it has "broken in" it is suggested you check again at each indicated service if it is hard to pull over the engine or if you have backfiring of the engine while running.

Things to check before you by this Part:

1. Be sure to inspect the the Cylinder Head, Valve Springs, Valve Retainers and Push Rods for damage and replace if necessary.
2. You might need a new Rocker Cover Gasket when replacing this part.
3. When replacing, reset your Valve Clearances settings. (Instruction video below.)

• Intake: 0.15-0.20 mm
• Exhaust: 0.20-0.30 mm

 (Try the smallest setting first. If it is still not running right, change the clearance to the larger setting.)
